About Amos Tarfa

AmosTheMathGuy

Amos Tarfa, widely known as "AmosTheMathGuy," is the visionary behind Counting to Calculus. With a background in Medical Physics and a passion for education, Amos has dedicated his life to revolutionizing mathematics education.

He holds a Master's degree in Medical Physics, another Master's in Medical Health Physics, and has completed a year of his PhD in Chemistry & STEM Education. Originally from Nigeria, Amos came to the United States in 2007 and has since become a leader in STEM education innovation.

In 2013, Amos founded the Learning Institute For Excellence (LIFE), which provides academic tutoring and coaching in multiple subjects, SAT/ACT preparation, and education consulting to schools. He currently works as a Diagnostic & Nuclear Medicine Physicist in East Texas and serves as an Adjunct Instructor at LeTourneau University.

His mission: to help one billion kids master Mathematics and become the next generation of STEM leaders.
